![]() ![]() I did not enjoy the 6am-10pm class/study cycle, and several aircraft mishaps have occurred where both the instructor and student were killed. To continue.in december I felt that flight training was no longer for me. They have been my real passion since I was 12 years old. I enjoy a multitude of other things and all, going out to eat, movies, playing tennis, bowling, etc, but I could eat, breathe, and sleep card games. Unfortunately for me my interests aren't very broad you could say my real only hobbies are card games and to a lesser extent video games (only play 30 minutes a day, if that). We go to the beach, art museums, movies, basically anything she wanted to do, we'd do it one way or the other. She loves going to church and I loathe it, but we always go to church on sundays. She had always let me go to weekly tournaments, and in return I would spend friday and sunday with her doing whatever she wanted. I don't believe in forcing anyone to do anything they aren't genuinely interested in. She never took the initiative to try and learn YuGiOh, but at the same time I didn't actively try to get her to start. During this time, I had went to once-a-week local tournaments. We moved to florida where I did flight training and got married, and then moved to texas for more training, where I am currently located. Roughly 2 months later I was shipped to OCS (boot camp for naval officers), and after 5 months of that I graduated to become a Student Naval Pilot. She told me that it didn't matter that I played card games and loved me for me. ![]() Roughly 3 weeks into our relationship, I told her my secret about playing card games. She was the first girl I told about my enjoyment of card games, prior to her, I had always kept my hobby a secret from girlfriends. Before then, we knew each other for exactly a year ie we got married on our 1-year anniversary (of dating). My wife and I have been roughly married for 10 months. The situation ultimately ended up to "either you throw away all your cards right now, or I'm going to the attorney to get divorce papers." I threw away roughly $2000 worth of cards. Today I was forced to quit my hobbies of YuGiOh and Magic the Gathering by my wife. ![]()
